July 02 - another destroyed M109 from earlier - huge numbers of these self-propelled artillery pieces shoddily built and evilly supplied by the United States have been destroyed - hundreds per OSINT counts - more of them have been destroyed than are left in the combined arsenals of all NATO member entities, except the big proverbial herself, where not that many remain either.

When the war ends Russia will make a fortune just out of selling destroyed Western junk for scrap to East and South Asia.

Here is another destroyed M109 self-propelled gun and destroyed with the loss of of the crew who unfortunately didn’t have time to escape and surrender to the Russians and so don’t get to live to fight another day next time in Europe against NATO presumably as part of joint Russo-Ukrainian forces or something.

As you can see it’s very comprehensively destroyed and will need more than a lick of  paint to repair it if repair is at all possible, Scrapping it as the junk that it is seems to be a more realistic option. But it’s going to be scrap metal of some inferior quality. Because it wasn’t made of a very good quality metal to begin with.
