Ukrainian Forces BTR-80 Armored Personnel Carrier and Tank Captured

A BTR-80 with a set of slat armor and an array of weapon systems was captured from the NATO trained Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU / SZU) by elements of the Allied forces who intend to use it to fight NATO proxies in Ukraine with their own weapon in this as in thousands of other cases where Ukrainian military hardware falls into the hands of the Allied forces.

Ukrainian BTR-Mounted Forces Face Defeat at Nikolayiv

A sizeable contingent of NATO proxies from ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU / SZU) and / or NATO member state volunteers mounted on Ukrainian BTR-80 armored personnel carriers appears to have been routed somewhere in the south of the country.

At least six Ukrainian NATO proxy BTR-80 APCs, AFU, in these images, some more damaged than the others.

As regards BTR-4, they are the newest armored personnel carriers in Ukraine, domestically made based on Soviet designs, and while they are nothing particularly special, BTR-4 APCs are good value and certainly much better than, say, Humvees and more useful on the battlefield and, more importantly, longer living.
