Apropos of Abrams and other Western tank news, here is a little reminder courtesy of TFOWAG files.
In a 1991 tank duel, an Iraqi T-72 fired a tank round which knocked out of action and disabled an US M1A1 tank, then fired a second which totally destroyed the Abrams. And those were probably not even proper anti-tank rounds because those would have gone right through the Abrams.
And here is what happens when an Abrams is hit with an outdated 40 year-old Metis AT missile.
And don't you believe any rubbish claims about Abrams blowout panels saving anyone or ever working at all.
