US Abrams Tank Knocked Out and Then Destroyed in 1991 with Just Two Iraqi T-72 Rounds

Apropos of Abrams and other Western tank news, here is a little reminder courtesy of TFOWAG files.

In a 1991 tank duel, an Iraqi T-72 fired a tank round which knocked out of action and disabled an US M1A1 tank, then fired a second which totally destroyed the Abrams. And those were probably not even proper anti-tank rounds because those would have gone right through the Abrams.
