Turns out, after pictures have just surfaced, that Houthis used Iranian-made Samad 3 and Qasef 2K UCAVs to take out a US-made MIM-104 Patriot SAM system April 15, 2022.
There are questions about whether the U.S. MIM-104 Patriot SAM is effective or even works at all, per wikipedia, Theodore Postol of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Reuven Pedatzur of Tel Aviv University testified one time before a House Committee stating that, according to their independent analysis of video tapes, the Patriot system had a success rate of below 10%, and perhaps even a zero success rate.
That was then but this is now: it is certainly in keeping with the fact that most of the United States designed and manufactured weaponry is incapable, ineffective and performs poorly on a battlefield, as the US and NATO weaponry systems have been found out in Ukraine for the useless fakes that they are, as useless and incapable as they are overpriced, in many cases suitable only "for show".
