Here is another destroyed "backbone of the US forces around the world" Humvee in Ukraine... and not just any Humvee but an anti-drone "Barn" augmented Humvee.
In the final analysis, as can be seen, it is the "barn" that proved to be the strongest structure (though made of junk yard iron) and survived while the rest of the Humvee took hits and burned.
Which seems to be a metaphor for something. Or whatever it is that we meant to say by it.
