But we have an explanation that is not stupid.
Bridges, like other civil infrastructure projects, but bridges especially, should be built with extra strength built in allowing them to withstand accidents like airplane falls or even and including ship collisions; that's how bridges should be built properly.
On the contrary, this bridge is a rotten US capitalist bridge built super cheaply to maximize crapitalist profits, without proper calculations or allowances for strength of materials, without a safety margin.
In a nutshell, it's another case of self-collapsing cheap world trade center towers with steel beams made of junk iron, the cheapest they could find.
We are disgusted with US civil engineering.
Look, US and other Western entity sponsored Zelensky regime terrorists blew up a megaton truck bomb on the Crimean bridge, rammed a support pillar with a huge boat packed with tons of explosives, fired freaking rockets at it and look - it's still standing.
That's how you build a bridge and not the rotten Baltimore bridge, what's its name, a rusting tin foil vessel knocks it down.
A properly built bridge support would have torn the ship apart rather than collapse.
But proper engineering and building are impossible under capitalists and incompatible with capitalist regimes.
