First US M1 Abrams tank-based vehicle destroyed. M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV)

Not yet an M1 Abrams tank per se, but an Abrams tank based vehicle has been destroyed for the first time and namely, an M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV)

As you can see it didn’t offer much in the way of protection against the Agent of destruction, whatever it was that did the job, but was destroyed easily and readily and also spectacularly.
