One English hack writer’s account of the Palestinian tactics against the IDF of Circa two thousand and one, in a moment of his being rather less than his usual lying English self.
As you can see it’s still much the same weaponry – the AK and RPG combo and it’s still the same tactics and, though limited in range of options, it’s still as effective today as it was in 2001 and IDF militants are as fearful and unwilling today to take on Hamas in street fighting as they were in 2001 against Fatah and the PLO.
And the IDF have precious little to show for their pains - true, they unleashed a version of the ww2 genocide on the civilian population of Gaza killing tens of thousands, including many children, but have failed to destroy Hamas so had to sue for, if not yet peace, then certainly a truce as our top military expert, General Sokolowski (read), predicted weeks ago.
You know, Israelis shouldn’t take their Torah literally - it’s just mythology, and they are not “people of the Book” (or if they are, the book they are of is a collection of fairy tales) and no God promised them anything over anybody else, and certainly not Palestine, in the first place.
The sooner they realize that and revert to their former Nomadic and stateless selves, abandon Zionism and the sooner they clear Palestine and go back to where they came from, the better it will be for them also.
And by the way, regarding the excerpt, the armor plate on an Apache bottom is no problem for an RPG. If you don’t miss, the Apache goes down, regardless where you hit it with an rpg. You don’t have to aim for the rotor blade.
