US M113 APC Stops Tank Round, Gets Torn Apart

Images show what happens when a US-made M113 APC stops a tank round as happened recently east of Ukraine, late Sept or early Oct 2022.

Per our lazy - and not at all all-inclusive - OSINT BDA count, this unit is the number 22 destroyed M113 APC and variants (like Dutch YPR-765).

The truth of the matter is the US-designed and built M113 APC and its bastardized versions, like the Dutch YPR-765 AIFV, is a poor piece of military equipment even by the lowly standards of the US military-industrial complex, suitable for nothing more serious than colonial warfare against under-armed opponents or terrorizing civilian populations in third-world countries, and even more faulty and incapable than other US-manufactured weaponry which is now being found out in the Ukraine for the useless junk that it is.

In WW2 the US had the worst tanks and armored vehicles of all the warring nations and now, fast forward 80 years, it still makes the worst armored vehicles in the world as the profit-prioritizing capitalist-run US military-industrial complex continues to live up to its tradition of incompetency by producing, manufacturing and dumping (never for free though) on its satellites, stooges and proxies, overpriced junk like the under-powered, under-protected and under-armed aluminum crapcan / coffin that the US M113 is.
