A humvee, which is a crappy vehicle in many other regards too, is easily and completely destroyed by a landmine which is likely to be a tm-62, antitank, or maybe even a smaller mine, and offers little if any protection to crew and compliment.

The US HMMWV, aka humvee, once used to be a ubiquitous symbol of US military might and worldwide reach, "the vehicular backbone of U.S. forces around the world", and a regular feature of every (ill-advised) foreign campaign perpetrated by the US military since at least the late 1980s and the invasion of Panama, all of them illegal under international law, but has now become a symbol of disaster and military failure.
